Chumeia Silver Nectar Torrontes & Chenin Blanc (Mendoza, Argentina)

Chumeia (pronounced koo-may-a) is the ancient Greek word for Alchemy. A truly aromatic wine, the Silver Nectar
offers flavours of honey, apricots peaches and a hint of lychee. Not what any would consider an overly sweet desert
wines Silver Nectar is great when paired with desserts that feature fresh fruit like apples or lemons and soft custards
like crème caramel.


Cave Spring Riesling Indian Summer Select Late Harvest VQA (Niagara Peninsula, Ontario)

This wine originates from grapes grown in selected vineyards along the south shore of Lake Ontario in the Niagara Peninsula. These clusters were left on the vine to partially raisin during late autumn, with a further concentration of sugars and acids occuring when the berries were partially frozen by the first deep frosts of the season. Selectively hand-harvested and pressed in a semi-frozen state, they deliver a sweet wine with an ideal balance of luscious fruit flavours and crisp acidity.


Henry of Pelham Riesling Icewine VQA (Niagara Peninsula, Ontario)

A decadent Canadian treat! Riesling grapes are picked and pressed frozen allowing for the truest expression of the grape.The result is a perfumed and citrusy nectar. When thinking dessert with Icewine, think light – Icewine pairs best with fresh fruit desserts and pairs extremely well with cheese platters – try the Blue.

 

Port Wines

Taylor Fladgate First Estate Reserve Port (Douro Valley, Portugal)

A rich, jammy, Vintage style Port packed with black-fruit flavours complemented by mellow oak notes. This full-bodied port is an excellent partner for rich, highly flavoured cheeses as well as intense desserts such as chocolate that would  easily overwhelm lighter wines.

Delaforce His Eminence’s Choice 10 Year Old Tawny (Douro Valley, Portugal)

This smooth and elegant 10 Year Old Tawny, with its luscious palate and ripe, smooth flavour is drawn from Delaforce’s extensive reserves of mature port fully aged in oak casks. A full port that pairs well with desserts with nuts and chocolate.

Featured Port – Peter Lehmann The King Vintage 1996 (Barossa Valley, Australia)

Showing enormous depth of Character this rich, complex, multiple award winning fortified wine has been made from Touriga  Nacionale, Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon. The King makes excellent after dinner sipping – enjoy with creamy cheese, dark  chocolate or fruitcakes.
